Show items in sub groups when browsing the catalog

Select this option if you want IDimager to not only show images that belong to the selected catalog label, but also for all labels that are defined below the selected label. This may have major impact on the performance of the Catalog Explorer. Therefore it is recommended to switch this option off.

Show initially selected items as fully qualified in the catalog tree

When assigning tags to an image, the catalog tree is opened. The current selected labels will be displayed in a separate group. By selecting this option these initially selected labels will be displayed as a fully qualified reference, meaning that all higher labels will be displayed also.

Use double height items in the Catalog Explorer

By default each item in the Catalog Explorer uses one line of text. By enabling this option you get a second line. Double height items will claim more screen space.

Allow a double click in the Catalog Explorer to change collection while in assignment mode

When the catalog Explorer is in assignment mode ([F6]) then selecting a different label in the tree has no effect. When you enable this option you can always use a double click to change the collection anyway.

When copying images, store the copied image as a version of the original

When you copy images within IDimager, it can store the copy as a version of the original when you enable this option.

Main Version Bar Color

Sub Version Bar Color

By default IDimager shows thumbnails for main versions with a yellow bar below the image. Sub-versions get a green bar. Here you can customize these colors.

Selection Box position in Catalog Explorer

The Catalog Explorer displays selection boxes that you can use to create queries. This option allow you to place the selection boxes inline or at the far left.

left and inline:

Catalog version display type

When images are part of version sets the IDimager and the image is displayed in the Catalog Explorer, the IDimager will use the version that is stored in the Album display version place holder as the representing image for the set. That behaviour is controlled by this option. You can either choose the Album display version or the main version to represent a version set.

Catalog File Folder

IDimager Personal and Pro-SQLServer only;

Select the location where you wish to store your catalog. This folder will also contain your thumbnails.

When changing image details, handle versions as

IDimager Pro only;

Here you can specify how IDimager should act if you change ratings or color labels for images that are part of a version set.

Don't apply to version: Select this option if you don't want IDimager to change any of the other ratings/color labels within the version set

Apply ratings and color labels to all images in version set: Select this option if you want the newly assigned rating and/or color label to be assigned to every other image inside the stack (main+sub versions)

Apply only ratings to all images in version set: Select this option if you only want the newly assigned rating to be assigned to every other image inside the stack. Color labels will not be migrated to other images.

Apply only color labels to all images in version set: Select this option if you only want the newly assigned color label to be assigned to every other image inside the stack. Ratings will not be migrated to other images.

Auto add images as uncataloged for the following folders

Here you can specify which folders should be watched by IDimager for the catalog. If you add a folder here, and in some way you access images from this folder that are still uncataloged, IDimager will place them in the uncataloged section of the catalog.

It is also possible to scan the watch folders for new images using the Catalog Explorer.
