By default IDimager is deployed with a singe empty portfolio. You can either use this as your first portfolio or create a new one.
To create a new portfolio, right click on the Portfolios branch in the Catalog Explorer and select "New item". Then enter the name for the portfolio.
Name your portfolio in the input field that pops up and click “Ok”. The new portfolio is then created.
To rename an existing portfolio, select it, right click and select "Edit Item". You will be asked to enter the new name. Then click OK.
To delete an existing portfolio, select it, right click and select "Delete Item".
Only the portfolio’s definition will be deleted, meaning the portfolio itself, all galleries inside the portfolio and all collections in each gallery will be removed. The images inside the portfolio will remain on your file system.

Tip!
By deleting a portfolio, none of the images located inside the portfolio will be deleted from the file system. It is just the structure that is removed from the database. |
Note; IDimager always requires at least one portfolio which means you can not delete the last available portfolio.
The next section describes how you can create a gallery in your new portfolio.
