Images can be opened in two ways: either in the Image Viewer/editor or in the Full Screen Viewer. By default, IDimager is configured to open images in the Image Viewer/Editor. However, you can change this preference in the Options panel. Open Tools | Options | Image Viewer and choose your preference for the field “Images are opened in”.
Image Editor |
This option will open the image in the Image Viewer/Editor when you double click on a thumbnail or when pressing [Enter]. The Image Viewer/Editor allows you to view the image and perform a variety of image editing functions including cropping, sharpening, color and brightness adjustment, framing etc
When you set your preference to this option you can open the image in the “Full Screen Preview” mode by holding down the [Shift] key and then double click or press enter.
Press [Esc] to close the image editor and return to the thumbnails.

Full Screen Viewer |
This option will open the image in full screen mode. It allows you to view the image full screen and optionally zoom in, browse to the next/previous image, rate or color label the image, and more (press [F1] for all options).
When you set your preference to this option you can open the image in the “Image Viewer/Editor” mode by holding down the [Shift] key and then double click or press enter.
Press [Esc] to close the full screen preview and return to the thumbnails.
