Setting an image as the Windows Desktop Wallpaper

Top  Previous  Next

The desktop of your Windows based computer can get wallpaper. With IDimager you can set any of your images as the wallpaper. Open the image in the Image Viewer. Then open the “Actions” panel from the left tab menu and select “Set as Desktop Wallpaper”. You can also right click on the image itself and choose “Set as Desktop Wallpaper”.

Optionally you can define that the image should be cropped to fully match the ratio of your monitor resolution. This will eliminate “bars” above and below or left/right of the desktop image. The cropping will be processed on a temporary copy that will be created for the sole wallpaper purposes … your original will remain unchanged.

Now the image is set as your desktop background image.
