Thumb Height Ratio

Here you can specify the ratio that the height of the thumbnail uses compared to the width. This setting is used when no custom information is painted on the thumbs.
0.5 = height equals half the width
1 = height equals width;
2 = height is twice the width

Thumb Ratio with Info
|

Horizontal Spacing
|
Enter the number of pixels that should be maintained between horizontal thumbnails
|
Vertical Spacing
|
Enter the number of pixels that should be maintained between vertical thumbnails
|
Inner Thumb Spacing
|
Enter the number of pixels that should be maintained between the border of the thumb and the thumbnail image itself.

Thumb Border Style
|
Select the type of border you like for your non-selected thumbnails. Options are: rounded, square, circular and none.

Selected Thumb Border Style
|
Select the type of border you like for your selected thumbnails. Options are: rounded, square, circular and none.

Frame thumbnail image
|
Enable this option if you want IDimager to draw a fine line around the thumbnail. This is useful when you select no border-style
|
Outer frame thumbnail for rated images
|
Enable this option if you want IDimager to draw a colored square frame around the entire image area of the thumbnail. The color of the frame will represent the rating so this setting can be used when you switch off the rating bar for thumbnails (see below).
The colors are:
1 star = Red
2 stars = Yellow
3 stars = Green
4 stars = Blue
5 stars = Purple

Thumb bookmarked frame color
|
Specify the color that you want to use for the bookmark indicator (a frame around the thumbnail image for a bookmarked image). Fyi; you can bookmark thumbnails in IDimager by pressing [Ctrl]+[Space]

Star color on colored labels
|
Select the color that should be used for the rating-star icons on the thumbnail when a color label is active

Star color on non-colored labels
|
Select the color that should be used for the rating-star icons on the thumbnail without any color label
|
Star color on selected non-colored labels
|
Select the color that should be used for the rating-star icons on the thumbnail without any color label and when the thumbnail is selected
|
Show menu indicator on thumbs

Show recipe indicator
Show synchronize indicator
Show preview indicator
Show missing file/offline indicator
Show speaker indicator

Each of these will toggle the corresponding icon on the thumbnail.

Show photo date on thumbs
|
Enable this option to display the image’s date above every thumbnail. The date is extracted from Exif and if no Exif is available, it will show the file's last modified date.

Show rating/color label bar on thumbs
|
Select this option if you want to see the rating bar on the thumbnails. Enabling it will show the star ratings and the color label below the thumb image.
Tip; also see the option "Outer frame thumbnail for rated images" and "Thumb Background Color".

Truncate thumb info if needed
|
In the previous section you've seen that you can add custom information to your thumbnails. It may well be that this text exceeds the maximum available width of the thumb area. This info can then be either clipped (truncated) or wrapped to a next line. With this option you control that behavior.

Thumbnail Caption Shows
|
Here you can select what information should be shown below the thumbnail. Valid options are:
File Name: Display the file name below the thumbnail
None: Display no caption below the thumbnail

Collection Viewer Color
|
Optionally select a color that you prefer to use for the Collection Viewer. Specify "Default" if you want to use the application's theme color.

Collection Viewer Background Color
|
Optionally select a color that you prefer to use for the background of the Collection Viewer. Specify "Default" if you want to use the application's theme color.

Thumb Background Color
|
Optionally select a color that you prefer to use for the background of your thumbnails. Specify "Default" if you want to use the application's theme color.
Optionally check the option "Use color label as background color". When this option is selected then IDimager will use the color label's color as the background color (if color labeled) and for non-color labeled images, the specified Thumb Background Color will be used.

Thumb Highlight Color

Optionally select a color that you prefer to use for the selected thumbnails. Specify "Default" if you want to use the application's theme color.

Optionally select a color that you prefer to use for the text on selected thumbnails. Specify "Default" if you want to use the application's theme color.
