The table or grid shows you the all images available on the source you selected in your Download Profile, in this case the sample images distributed with IDimager.

Note that the table has 10 possible columns that are displayed. The first column contains a Thumbnail of the image. You have the option to show/hide these thumbnails by clicking the blue arrow in the top-left corner of the table:

if you applied mirroring and eventually a mirror sub folder naming rule, it will be reflected in this column. Just like the previous 2 columns, changes made on mirroring in your download profile will be instantly be reflected in the table.

Tip!

If you select a new Source location in your download profile, the columns will automatically be resized to show the content in the columns once the refresh is finished.

How refreshing works

The table will automatically be refreshed the instance you change your Source location in the Download Profile or by pressing F5. The way the refresh works, is that it will first build up the context in the table and afterwards build up the thumbnails. Always keep this in mind when you refresh the table and you have to wait for your thumbnails to show. Especially if you have complex naming rules, mirroring enabled and have selected a large number of images, this can take a bit of time. The moment the table columns have been auto sized, you know the refreshing of the context is finished. Because the refreshing is a threaded process you can continue working with the application during the refresh.

However, the refresh engine is clever. If you make modifications to other fields presented in the table, it will only refresh that specific column in the table, e.g. if you alter your file naming rule, it will only refresh column 9.
